A useful lead starts
with a real notice.

This first edition follows a small set of public procurement sources. It is a sample of the work we aim to surface, not comprehensive coverage of any state.

What belongs here

A public request for building-energy services, with an identifiable issuer, a stated response date, and a source you can inspect. We focus on commissioning, building controls, energy audits, and related electrical work. Residential weatherization is labeled separately and hidden by default.

What a status means

Open notice: The reviewed source lists a future response deadline. This does not certify your firm’s eligibility or that all addenda have been reviewed.
Earlier step passed: A stated participation milestone is already past, even though proposals are due later.
Needs recheck: A monitored source changed, could not be reached, or has not been verified in seven days. The notice is held outside the current feed.
Archive: The response deadline passed or the source reports closure or an award. Closed records are never counted as current projects.

When a source omits a time zone or closing time, we preserve that uncertainty. A date-only notice leaves the current feed at the start of its closing date; confirm the exact deadline with the issuer.

What this feed does not establish

A building’s compliance deadline is not evidence that its owner is buying services. A procurement notice is not a guaranteed contract, an exclusive introduction, or proof of available budget. We do not invent project values or sell public contact details.

How updates work

Automatic discovery currently checks South Carolina’s Consultant / Professional, Maintenance / Repair, and Services categories. Other sources in this edition monitor the specific notices shown above. Architectural and construction categories are not yet part of automatic discovery.

Source checks look for changes to tracked notices. A changed or inaccessible notice is withheld from the current feed until its brief can be verified again. The source review date is shown on each record, so an old check cannot look like a fresh lead.
