Commission building systems through construction, acceptance, and occupancy of the county’s new public safety facility.
The work
- Mechanical, plumbing, lighting controls, building automation, and fire detection and alarm systems.
- Coordinate with the project team during construction, acceptance, and occupancy. Construction began in July 2026 with a stated 30-month timeline.
Before you pursue it
- The desired qualifications include a Montana Professional Engineer and extensive HVAC, controls, and field commissioning experience. The designated commissioning authority must be a member of the prime firm (RFP pages 8–9).
- Submit three printed copies plus an electronic copy on disk or USB. Email and fax proposals are not accepted (pages 2 and 10).
- The proposal has a 15-page limit with stated exclusions. Include the signed cover sheet, commissioning experience form, organization chart, and key staff resumes (page 10).
